Local Alcohol & Drug Planning Committee
About the Committee
The Local Alcohol and Drug Planning Committee (LADPC) is authorized under state statute to provide systems recommendations to the Marion County Board of Commissioners and Health Department on issues related to substance abuse and addiction and local treatment services. It is also responsible for community education and advocacy on alcohol and drug-related issues and for coordinating the efforts of other groups focused on these areas.
The committee is comprised of 11 members that represent the community, consumers of treatment services, community partners, law enforcement/ corrections and treatment providers. The Health Department Administrator also attends the committee.
The Local Alcohol and Drug Planning Committee (LADPC) meets on the first (1st) Thursday of every month at the Marion County Health and Human Services Adult Services Building, 2045 Silverton Rd NE, Salem, OR 97301 in the Inspirations Conference Room from 8:30 am-10:00 am.
