The following days are recognized and observed as paid holidays for regular and trial service employees working 50% or more. Part-time employees working 50% or more accrue these holidays proportionate with the percent of time worked. Some collective bargaining agreements provide for the day after Thanksgiving as an additional holiday as well. Verify before taking the day off.
Regular full-time employees and part-time employees working 50% or more are entitled from 1 to 2 personal holidays depending on the collective bargaining agreement or county personnel rules. Part-time employees working 50% or more accrue this holiday proportionate with the percent of time worked.

Part-time employees working 50% or more will accrue vacation leave proportionate with the percent of time worked. Employees should attempt to accrue as much vacation leave as possible to prevent loss of income due to illness or injury.
