MCHA offers Project-Based Section 8 Rental Assistance
In addition to offering housing assistance in apartment communities that we own, MCHA is able to attach Section 8 assistance to privately owned apartment communities through the Project Based Voucher program. In order to be eligible to live in these units, households must qualify to receive rental assistance from MCHA and must pass the screening criteria established by the apartment community. Different project-based voucher communities may have different suitability requirements.
