Volunteer Recognition
2023 Volunteer Awards - Now accepting nominations!
Marion County Board of Commissioners recognize outstanding volunteers with annual volunteer awards. Volunteers are recognized in 5 categories: Youth Volunteer of the Year (age 7-17 yrs), Advisory Board Volunteer of the Year, Division/Program Award (18+ yrs), Commissioner Mary Pearmine Outstanding Volunteer Group Award, and the Judge Rex Hartley Volunteer of the Year Award.
Anyone may nominate a county volunteer or group for this annual recognition. Volunteers may be honored for ongoing or past service to a program, or for work on a one-time project. Volunteers should be recognized for service during the calendar year 2023. Nominations are accepted year-round, with an annual deadline set each year. The deadline to submit a nomination for the 2023 Volunteer Awards is Friday, March 08, 2024.
All nominations are made through the Volunteer Award Nomination Portal. Additional information to help you develop your nomination:
