Labish Village Park
In 1975, Marion County purchased five lots totaling .873 acres and vacated a portion of Edith Street through the proposed park area. A master plan for the development of the park was completed and a citizens' committee, the "Labish Village Park Committee", was formed and committed to a self-help approach to developing the park. After two years of construction by the citizens, the park was completed on July 30, 1977.
