North Santiam

Previously the North Santiam State Recreation Area, North Santiam Park is known for a beautiful riverfront view and some of the finest steelhead fishing spots on the North Santiam River. The first park land was given to the state by Marion County in 1937. The park grew through private purchases and donations until 1968, when the State Highway Division transferred the final acreage that makes up the park today.
