Elder Abuse
Seniors are among our most vulnerable victims. The Victim Assistance Division has a Victim Advocate who is assigned to provide community referrals and emotional support through the prosecution of a case for victims of elder abuse. The Victim Advocate has received specialized training to address the unique victimization issues of elder abuse victims.

How Can I get help if I am the elder being abused?
You can also call Elder Care Locator at 1-800-677-1116. The person who answers the phone will refer you to a local agency that can help. The Elder Care Locator answers the phone Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Or you can call the telephone numbers listed in "Reporting Elder Abuse" below.
Victims of Elder Abuse may be eligible for a restraining order.
