Chemeketa Community College - Corrections Education Department
Serves participants in the SOAR Program (Student Opportunity to Achieve Results) and those on parole and probation with employment and training. Assistance includes job search, career exploration, GED planning, and/or planning for higher education.
Marion County Health Department - Alcohol & Drug Treatment Services
Provides professional credentialed mentors who assist clients through the recovery process and works in the Student Opportunity for Achieving Results (SOAR) reentry program for transitioning clients who have been incarcerated.
Marion County Sheriff’s Office – Parole and Probation Division
Encourages the participation and collaboration of community-based social service agencies, and applies intensive cognitively based aftercare and relapse prevention strategies to the most significant areas of client risk. Provides supervision of ex-offenders placed on parole or probation, including use of validated assessments to identify risk, need and responsivity characteristics by which customized reentry plans are designed.
Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency
Operates the De Muniz Resource Center, providing assistance with education, employment, housing, basic needs, and other information and referral, including financial literacy workshops, legal clinics, GED preparation, support and advocacy, parenting and cognitive behavioral classes.
Union Gospel Mission of Salem
Provides emergency and transitional housing, with additional supports for education, employment, recovery, and spiritual development.
WorkSource Oregon
Provides assistance with vocational training, skill upgrades, job readiness and job search. Works with employers to develop employee's skills and provide reimbursements for On-The-Job-Training (OJTs).
