Our mission

Learn, lead and invest in bold and meaningful ways to empower families and communities to flourish.

The work through the County Fair, Dog Services, Economic Development, Marion County Reentry Initiative, Community Development, and our partnership with Marion County Extension and 4-H Service District, support our department in achieving its mission. Social and economic health are key to building a thriving community and are priorities for Marion County and the Community Services department.
