Silverton Rd Left Turn Refuge at Desart
Crashes that involve left-turning vehicles are frequent along Silverton Road, from east of Lardon Road to the City of Silverton due to the lack of dedicated left-turn lanes. The addition of a westbound left-turn lane on Silverton Road will address all crash types, including left-turning crashes.

Funding
Federal All Roads Transportation Safety Program funds with County matching funds are being used to construct the upgrades. The total project cost is estimated to be $1,565,100 which includes engineering, right of way and construction.
