Ferry Boat Catwalk for Buena Vista (Polk County)
Marion County receives Federal Ferry Boat Program funds for the Wheatland and Buena Vista ferries. Marion County has elected to use some of these funds for operational improvements at the Buena Vista ferry consisting of installing two full wrap around catwalks on the Polk tower and updated safety equipment on both towers. These will improve worker safety during tower and cable maintenance operations.
