If you are a landlord filing an eviction, you will start with the complaint and summons. If you are a tenant responding to an eviction, you will start with the answer form.

At the first hearing, which is called the initial appearance, sometimes the landlord and tenant can come to an agreement. If they do come to an agreement, they memorialize the agreement in a document called the "stipulated agreement and order."
