Summary of Services
Our Psychiatric Care Center (PCC) provides crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our purpose is to serve any person who is in a mental health crisis and needs immediate intervention. Any person who believes themselves to be in a mental health crisis is eligible to be seen. Examples of a mental health crisis include:
- Suicidal thinking
- Feeling unable to cope with life stressors
- Psychotic behavior
A spectrum of resources is available to our PCC staff when helping people in crisis. Some of these resources include:
- Psychiatric hospitalization
- Crisis respite
- Referrals to long-term outpatient services for counseling
- Connection to a primary care physician
- Psychiatric prescribing services
- Addiction treatment services
Individuals will be evaluated by a Qualified Mental Health Professional who will provide a face-to-face assessment and crisis counseling. We also offer telephone triage, support, and referral. Our Qualified Mental Health Associates help monitor individuals, provide support, and assist in accessing necessary services.

Our Community Response Team (CRT) provides crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. These teams are comprised of a combination of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), and a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM).
Who can call CRT?
- Self
- Family/Friend
- 988
- Service Provider
- Police/Fire/Medics
- Anyone concerned for themselves or another individual
Examples of a behavioral health crisis include:
- Suicidal thinking
- Feeling unable to cope with life stressors
- Psychotic behavior
- Substance use concerns
What CRT does:
- Crisis intervention
- Safety plan
- Transport voluntarily to other service providers or location determined to be appropriate
- Provide resources and referrals
- Evaluate appropriateness for Crisis Respite
- Arrange for follow-up when appropriate
- Connection to Addiction Services
- Provide peer support for those experiencing issues with substance use and/or recovery
