Children's Behavioral Health (CBH) provides general outpatient mental health services to youth ages 0-17 years and their families, who are Medicaid eligible. We offer a range of services, including a variety of evidence based therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT/CBT), Solution Focus Therapy, and Motivational Interview, to address anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, and many other symptoms.
We are improving access to mental health services now and offer SAME DAY ACCESS. The first step is to complete our intake packet. We will notify the individual/parent when their packet has been verified and added to our system. Once verified, the individual can call any day, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. for an intake assessment that same day. That means an individual can register, secure an appointment, be seen for an intake assessment, and receive clinical recommendations all on the same day. Assessments are at 1 p.m. and take approximately two hours to complete.
For your convenience, we have included a link and instructions for the intake packet in the section below.

Family involvement is strongly emphasized and is a vital component to the treatment process. We are mindful of the interconnectedness of individuals with their environment, including families, schools, and communities. Everyone in service has an individualized service plan addressing their specific needs while being trauma and culturally informed. A major focus of treatment of CBH includes assisting youth and their families with improving relationships, reducing behavioral, and/or mental health symptoms, and developing the skills needed to make positive life decisions.
Our therapists integrate a trauma informed lens while providing treatment. We offer the following therapeutic services:
- Mental health assessment
- Psychotherapy (individual and family)
- Group therapy
- Skills training (individual and group)
- Psychiatric assessment and medication management
- Case management
- Consultation
- Peer support services
Bilingual Spanish services are available and interpreter support is available for many other languages.
