Dogs in Our Community Need Your Help
Marion County Dog Services (MCDS) provides care for hundreds of stray dogs each year. Our team works tirelessly to reunite these lost pets with their families. For those dogs who remain unclaimed, our goal is to place them into loving homes.
Your monetary donation helps provide a healthy, safe environment for the dogs in our care. From essential oils spritzed on morning bedding to frozen KONGs filled with treats, these "extras" make shelter life less stressful for the dogs at MCDS.

Our $10 for Tails donation program is a quick and easy way to support MCDS. For just 33 cents a day, you can make a difference - that's the price of two gourmet coffee drinks or a fast food meal. Would you be able to make that sacrifice to help homeless dogs in our community?

Keep our community clean, green AND help homeless dogs!
MCDS is a participant in the BottleDrop Give program, which is a quick and simple way to help our shelter dogs. Come to the shelter and ask for a bundle of BottleDrop Blue Bags. Fill the bags with plastic, aluminum and glass containers. Once the bags are full, bring them back to the shelter. It's that easy! We take the bags to our nearest BottleDrop location and the funds are automatically deposited into our MCDS account. This is a great fundraising project for schools, troops, church groups and more!
