Assessor's Office

The Assessor's Office is responsible for assessing all properties in Marion County. This includes commercial, industrial, residential, farm, forest, manufactured structures, utility and business personal property. We maintain records on approximately 136,000 property tax accounts with real market value of over $72.6 billion and assessed value of just over $33.6 billion.

• Managing programs for exemptions and deferrals
• Special assessments and enterprise zone exemptions
• Maps and information on property locations
• Descriptions and ownership of properties
