Made in Marion County – July 9-11, 2021, at the Oregon State Fairgrounds
Marion County is pleased to announce one of Oregon's oldest fairs will go on. The annual fair will take place July 9-11, 2021, at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem. "We're so glad to bring in-person youth and family activities back to the Marion County community and are looking forward to providing a respite from the last year and half and welcoming residents and visitors to safely celebrate Marion County," said Tamra Goettsch, Marion County Community Services Director.
After a one year live fair hiatus, the Marion County Fair is looking forward to once again showing off the best the county has to offer. The fair will showcase local 4-H and FFA programs, interactive attractions for fairgoers of all ages, public competitions, great food, music, carnival rides, and more.
Volunteer Information
Volunteers play a huge role in the success of the Marion County Fair. It's a great way to feel more connected to the community and meet new people. There are many volunteer opportunities including helping fair visitors, manning the information booth, assisting with public competitions, and more. "Whatever your interests are, no matter your ability, or how much time you can give there is a way for everyone to make a difference at the fair," said Goettsch.
The fair will take place July 9-11, 2021, with volunteer shifts available each day from morning through evening hours. All volunteers will receive a parking pass, a volunteer t-shirt, admission to the fair for the day they volunteer, and an additional ticket so they can enjoy the fair another day as a visitor.
