Deputies have located Mr. Siefarth. A concerned citizen located him near Hayesville Drive NE. When Mr. Siefarth could not guide the man to to his home he called the police. Mr. Siefarth will be taken home shortly .

Deputies Searching for Missing Salem Man
Deputies are currently searching a north east Salem neighborhood for a missing man with dementia. Gerald Siefarth, age 86 walked away from his care home on Trapper Drive NE around 6:30 p.m. this evening. Siefarth is 6’02” tall, 192 lbs and walks with a cane. He was last seen wearing a red long sleeve tee shirt and brown pants.
