    ****************

In the fall of 2016, the Marion County Sheriff's Office was awarded a $99,000 grant to purchase and utilize body worn cameras. The grant made possible by the Bureau of Justice Assistance or (BJA) has provided the much needed funds to train, create policy and purchase 66 body worn cameras to be used by patrol deputies in Marion County.

As a part of our process for developing policy that best serves our community, we have developed a survey that we are asking our residents and visitors to take and provide us with feedback on how we can best implement our body worn cameras. The survey is available in English, Russian and Spanish; it is anonymous and takes about five minutes to complete.

A link to the survey can be found here: LINK CORRECTED ABOVE

Media) We are respectfully requesting you place a version of this story and the survey link on your web page so we may reach the largest population possible.
