A Permit Application submitted to Marion County for a permit is accompanied by Site Plan and Construction Plans. The review process begins when the application is determined to be complete.
Zoning Review: The site plan is reviewed by either Marion County Planning Division or the city jurisdiction. This review will identify the property's zone and that the proposal is consistent with zone code requirements:
Required setbacks are determined.
Land use requirements are reviewed.
Conditions of land use approvals are imposed.
Street name is reviewed for validity as a county street.
Address is assigned -or- coordinated with the city jurisdiction, if located within a UGB.
If a conflict with the zone code is found, the applicant will be referred to the
Marion County Planning Division or appropriate city for further information.
